Our History
Patient Guide Solutions was initially established in 1971 by Bob Hall. It was called Video Viewing, and launched as a TV guide printing company in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The company’s trajectory changed when Bob’s friend, an administrator at a local hospital, asked Bob to print a patient guide for his hospital. This guide launched Video Viewing’s foray into patient guide printing.
By 1983, Video Viewing had expanded and was printing patient guides — with TV guides included — for 80 clients. In 1992, Video Viewing installed its first in-house printing press.
The company rebranded twice: first in 2008, when it changed its name to Healthy Advice, and again in 2012, adopting another new name — PatientPoint.
In 2023, the name changed again to Patient Guide Solutions. But, some things remained the same: The company has operated in the same location on Otter Creek Road in Mabelvale, Arkansas, since 1984, with many employees who started with the company when it was Video Viewing.
Millions of printed guides — and 55 years — later, Patient Guide Solutions continues to create medically accurate, patient-focused guides for hospitals across the United States.
