Elizabeth’s journey in healthcare began at the bedside, where she dedicated 15 years to nursing across a diverse range of settings including medical, surgical, labor and delivery, and critical care dialysis units. Her role went beyond traditional patient care—Elizabeth embraced the educational aspect of nursing, knowing that clear, empathetic teaching could make a significant difference in her patients’ lives.

“I’ve always believed that teaching is a crucial part of nursing,” Elizabeth shares. “It’s about making a connection, bringing comfort, and empowering patients to manage their health effectively when the nurse isn’t there.”

“I’ve been on the receiving end of complex medical information, and I understand how overwhelming it can be,” Elizabeth explains. “Navigating a diagnosis without a medical background is incredibly challenging. That’s why my mission is to provide clear, supportive resources that can make a real difference for patients and caregivers.”

In her role as Medical Content Director at Patient Guide Solutions, Elizabeth leverages her extensive background to design educational materials that support both bedside nursing and patient self-management. Her expertise in survey readiness, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement enhances the quality of the resources she creates, ensuring they are both informative and compliant.
